By using art as a platform to build community and share insight, we will explore thoughts and ideas on what art is saying to us and how it makes us feel.

Facilitators

Vin Buchan Originally from England, Virginia has worked for the past six years as a Director of Visual Arts and Social Skills Educator at The Meeting House. She has been trained in both the RULER approach and AHA's social and emotional intelligence framework. Vin holds a masters degree in early childhood/special education from Touro College and a degree in art from Oxford University, which makes her the perfect facilitator for our first visual arts offering.

Sherri Lippman Art has been a passion of Sherri's since she was a young girl. Her father was a commercial artists and she adored his office and his art supplies. In high school she took art classes at the Art Students League in NYC and she received a full scholarship at Long Island University where she pursued her dream of getting a degree in Art Education. After a successful career in the arts education field she was accepted in to the docent program at the Metropolitan Museum of Art where she has educated groups for the past few years. She continues to paint and is excited to share her love, knowledge and joy of art with The Meeting House.
