Young Adult & College Life Sessions

Gatherings in PERSON
Tuesdays 6:00 - 7:30
$1,350 for 6 weeks

We provide emotional support, social skills training, and help with executive functioning, with a focus on transition into college and the potential challenges individuals may face.

The issues college and college bound students have to deal with: Challenges of living on your own • Managing their own budget (financial wellness) • Setting their own schedule (executive functioning and organizational strategies) • Structuring their studies alone • Living in a new city or town without parental supervision.

Strengthening Social Skills: Isolation is the enemy of positive adjustment. College support groups help students develop the confidence and skills they need to feel more comfortable and confident in social situations, and learn to be more assertive and expressive.

Providing Emotional Support: Learn how to cope with emotional challenges in effective ways through proper self-care and prioritization of mental health.

Gaining Independence: Sometimes struggling students turn to their parents for support. Though parents can offer long-distance relief, college related support groups help students to develop the confidence to stand on their own and become self-reliant.
